Massage therapy can identify issues which may cause a dog pain in a variety of ways, often resulting in over-compensation in an entirely different area to the initial problem. This is why the holistic approach of the massage therapist can help when other methods have been unsuccessful.
Paul studied with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre (www.k9-massage.co.uk) on their two year practitioner programme. It involves research based modules covering the skeletal, muscular, lymphatic, nervous and blood vascular systems, as well as the the make up and function of the skin, gait analysis and common pathologies.
