Is your dog struggling to get up stairs or in to the car? Yelping for no reason? Nibbling on their legs or paws? Hopping or skipping on their back legs? Taking part in any dog sports? Or do you simply want peace of mind that your dog is not in any undiagnosed discomfort?

Because dogs are experts at masking pain DOGability is offering free muscle checks on Sunday 15th April with registered Clinical Canine Massage Therapist Paul Diggins.

You will get up to 20 minutes with Paul to view your dog's gait and have a muscle check. Should an issue be identified you will be offered a referral form detailing the problem to take to your vet. Slots are available from 9:30am and do need to booked in advance. To reserve your place either email dogabilitytraining@gmail.com, message us or comment below.

Massage therapy can identify issues which may cause a dog pain in a variety of ways, often resulting in over-compensation in an entirely different area to the initial problem. This is why the holistic approach of the massage therapist can help when other methods have been unsuccessful.

Paul studied with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre (www.k9-massage.co.uk) on their two year practitioner programme. It involves research based modules covering the skeletal, muscular, lymphatic, nervous and blood vascular systems, as well as the the make up and function of the skin, gait analysis and common pathologies.
