Boulder has passed the necessary ballot initiatives to enable an expansion of the city-owned broadband internet. What should it look like?
In partnership with the organizers of Broadband & Beers, which helped pass municipal broadband in Ft. Collins, we've gathered broadband experts, local organizers, and city representatives to present ideas and strategies to better connect Boulder with next-generation connectivity.
We will host a viewing of "Do Not Pass Go", which illustrates the battle communities fight against telecom monopolies over the right to build locally-owned gigabit networks. Following the viewing will be an in-depth strategy discussion with our community.
Food will be provided, thanks to the sponsorship of CU Boulder's College of Media, Communication, and Information. Participants are invited to bring a beverage to share. Kombucha, soda, beer, whatever your preference.
