Session 3: Marketing Plan
The third workshop provides participants with an introduction to marketing communication methods and tools to maximize your customer reach. The discussion in the Marketing Plan workshop covers pricing strategies, positioning, the difference between features and benefits, and different marketing strategies. At the end of this session, participants will know how to: outline their marketing strategy, test their marketing message, choose the right sales channel, and exercise their marketing strategy.
SCORE presents a five-part series of pre-business workshops to help participants reach a “go or no-go” decision for a start-up. The content presented is designed to work in conjunction with mentoring and includes homework for participants to complete between each workshop. The program is not designed to provide all of the information needed to start a business, but rather to help you decide whether you are ready to take the next step towards becoming an entrepreneur.
