Dust off those dancin' boot and get ready for a bluegrassy Thursday! Michael Shaw and the Wildfires will be tearing it up in the good hood, Thursday 4/12 from 6-8 PM!
Michael Shaw and The Wildfires proudly honor this Bill Monroe and his mates legacy with their hard-driving music and autobiographical country songs. Like Monroe, the Stanley’s, and other First-Generation Bluegrass Pioneers, their music earnestly conveys the heartfelt truth of a culturally-unique way of life. But instead of the dark hollers of Appalachia, the green rolling hills of Kentucky, or the rough-and-tumble bars of Southern Ohio, it’s the sky-piercing grandeur and intoxicating ruggedness of one of America’s last frontiers—Western Montana and the wild and untamed Northern Rockies—that informs this lonesome mountain music.
