***IF YOU COME TO THIS YOU WILL GET FREE PIZZA***
How fast a year can go by when you're having fun! Your PsychSoc committee members feel like it was just yesterday when they were elected onto the committee by our members at the AGM last year in the GMB. But our work is done and PsychSoc needs some new faces: you!
If you love psychology and you feel like society life is for you, whether you've held lots of positions before or not, we strongly encourage you to contribute to a committee of a society where you get a good mix of providing fun social events for course mates and more serious educational events all around our discipline! (by this, we mean PsychSoc, just to clarify...)
Come along on Wednesday to Chaplins for exerting your democratic rights, shaping the future of the society, and most importantly, FREE PIZZA!!!
These are the positions you can run for:
Chair - Jason Canning
The ultimate head on which all falls. The chair is oversees the committee and chairs the weekly meetings.

The voice of the people. Each student cohort is represented by a year representative on the committee. Their job is to be the bridge between you and the rest of us; incorporating your schedules and wishes to our plans, as well as communicating those plans back to you by constantly spamming your class pages.
Ordinary Committee Member - Siobhan Hegarty
The all rounder. The tasks fulfilled by an OCM are varied and numerous. An extra set of hands, the OCM helps out in planning and running society events.
We can't wait to see you all next Wednesday in Chaplins for our AGM followed by some treats and quality time together with the options of heading to Workman's after.
See you there,
your soon retiring committee xx
