Have you ever wished you were able to capture better portraits of your family and friends? If so, we have just the solution!
Life in Pixels will be holding regular workshops to help non-professional photographers learn how to take better pictures. Each workshop will be focused on a specific aspect of photography and will last between two and three hours.
Some of our workshops will be for those who know nothing about using a DSLR camera, while other workshops will be more advanced. We will also be holding workshops on occasion designed towards children who express an interest in learning more about photography.
This is our second intro workshop, and will likely be our last for some time, as we have to move on with our coursework. The workshop will take place at Colonial Park in Somerset, NJ.
This workshop will be covering the very basics of DSLR photography, including the different modes of your camera, as well as the importance of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
We will be limiting the number of attendees to 10 people so that we can provide each person with the attention they deserve. If we receive interest from more people, we do have additional instructors we can bring in order to accommodate a larger group.
The only requirement is a desire to learn and a DSLR camera.
In addition to the workshop itself, all in attendance will receive their own course materials to take home and keep--written and assembled exclusively by Life in Pixels Photography. This will include a 10-20 page handout reviewing all materials covered in the course, suggestions for practice exercises you can do on your own to further improve techniques discussed, as well as recommended products and accessories Life in Pixels Photography can vouch for the quality of--and perhaps equally as important, the most financially economical way of purchasing any item you may be interested in!*
You will also gain exclusive access to the Life in Pixels VIP Facebook group which is meant to be used as a resource for continued learning, as well as for advanced notice of future events. We highly encourage all attendees to join this group, and participate by sharing their photos, offering tips to others, as well as asking questions that Kathleen and I will be able to help you with.
*Please note that neither Life in Pixels Photography, nor Kathleen or myself have any financial stake in any gear recommendations we make. They are only meant to be used as a guide to help you make informed decisions should you choose to purchase any additional or upgraded photography gear based on our own experiences with specific brands, products, and vendors.
