Come join us for an afternoon of sweet soothing movement and sound. During this workshop we will cultivate mind-body awareness, progressively withdraw from the external world as you rewire the brain to support letting go habits that no longer serve you, leading to physical and energetic release.
Traditional Tantra yoga places its emphasis on integrating subconscious relaxation into each movement made by the body. We will move through a sequence of postures, the Tri Dosha Balancing Series, which encompasses the entire body both energetically and physically. Each posture will be held for 2-3mins allowing for a deep release of tension from the mind and body. The effects of these postures will be accompanied and enhanced by the playing of Tibetan Singing bowls.
Allowing the vibrations of the sound to resonate within the body and allow the healing effects of both physical Asana (poses) and vibraional sound to sink in.
This two hour workshop will be an all levels workshop comprising of a very gentle and meditative long holding Asana (posture) practice enhanced by the Sound Bath followed by a deep relaxation where we will allow the energy created to settle throughout the body.
Afterwards there will be homemade herbal teas to aid the cleansing and detoxifying of the body and a chance to have a chat with us and ask any questions you may have!
Clare will guide the movement meditation through yoga while Veronica will create the sound journey playing a variety of Tibetan singing bowls, bells and symbols.
Clare Griffin and Veronica Bertassi met in India where they were both deepening their yoga practice. They will be sharing the gift of sound and yoga in both Ireland and Italy throughout the summer.
