In association with Net-Teach, we are hosting an exclusive season of thought-provoking and educational viewings at The Printhaus.
The first film screening is "We Are Many" - the remarkable story of the biggest protest in history and how it changed the world.
On February 15th, 2003, up to 30 million people came out in nearly 800 cities around the world to protest against the impending Iraq War. The New York Times called this movement the “Second Superpower”.
This fearless, thought-provoking documentary is the remarkable inside story behind the first ever global demonstration, and its surprising and unreported legacy.
The star-studded list of contributors includes Danny Glover, film director Ken Loach, Prof. Noam Chomsky, musicians Brian Eno and Damon Albarn, Richard Branson and Colin Powell’s former Chief of Staff Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, amongst others.
Ticket price includes access to the film screening at The Printhaus (plus blankets and hot water bottles if it's chilly!) and a chance to submit questions via email to the film's director after the event - he has promised to respond personally to every one.
**Our usual food & drinks menu will be available to purchase separately on the night to keep your bellies & glasses full**
