Rules for Melee:
-Contact us to inform if you are bringing a full set up. (weekly can be held if enough set ups are brought)
-Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause
Disabled, 2/3 Games
-Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final
Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.
-Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
-First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-
-Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next
match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
-Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all
stages and then loser choosing.
-Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
-You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless
mutually agreed to.

Rules for SSB Wii U:
> 2 stock, 6:00 minute for Singles timer
> Items Off, Pause Off, Handicap Off
> All Characters Available
> Tournament Legal Stages

Players select their characters.
Use Starter Stage Striking (P1-P2-P2-P1) to determine the first stage
The players play the first game of the set
Winning player of the preceding game strikes a stage (when applicable).The losing player of the preceding game picks a stage for the next game
The winning player of the preceding game may choose to change characters.
The losing player of the preceding game may choose to change characters.
The next game is played.
Repeat for all subsequent games until the set is complete.

Players may select any LEGAL stage if they both agree on it. Players may not play on illegal stages or change the length of a set.

> 3/5 Games for Semis and Final Sets

*EGC Rules on Weeklies:
Console weeklies (excluding Super Smash Brothers Wii U) will be done with a digital copy of the game. If you do not own a copy of the game digitally, then you will use our public account for the weekly.
If you would to like to bring your own console for a certain weekly, please send us a message via Facebook, our website (www.egamerscafe.com), or call us on the day of the weekly (1-731-736-GAME).
No outside food or drink. If caught, you will be asked to either put the item away or throw the item away.
You may bring your own controllers, fightsticks, and other gaming equipment. If you do not, we do have controllers for you to use.
RESPECT EACH OTHER! No profanity, no hate speech, no discrimination, or any other act in which we deem disrespectful. If continuous disruptions of this rule is broken, you will be asked to leave.
