Dangdut fans, watch the king of dangdut Rhoma Irama and his son Ridho Rhoma in this film on love and, of course, dangdut music!
Dawai 2 Asmara, by Endri Pelita and Asep Kusdinar (2010)
Ridho, the son of dangdut singer Rhoma Irama, is called back from Australia – where he studies – by his father to revitalize the genre of dangdut music. At the same time, Ridho is confronted by a difficult choice in his love life. Will he return to his Indonesian high school sweetheart Thufa of will he act upon his feelings for the Australian research student Haura Sydney? But he has to move quickly, as Thufa is being courted by young singer Delon. Things become even more complicated when Bruto, an obsessed Rhoma Irama fan, enters the stage.
