"In today's day and age, it is most important to understand your child's emotional health. One positive adult relationship could meant the difference between a healthy and confident life, as opposed to one of depression, anger, and school violence. Whether you are a biological parent, grandparent, or foster parent, it is imperative to be there for your child, especially in today's world of social media".
- John Antal, MSW, LICSW and Clinical Coordinator for the Robert C. Byrd Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Center at OVMC.

In light of the recent school shooting in Florida, Pink Power Night is proud to host this free community event. Our speaker, John Antal has 25+ years of experience working with youth, and will be helping parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and guidance counselors to recognize signs that a child or young adult is depressed or needs help, and what steps can be taken to prevent these feelings to escalate.

This event is FREE, and while reservations are not required, they are appreciated!

Vendors and food begin at 5:30 followed by our program at 6:30 pm. It promises to be a great evening and we hope you can join us!
