Aestrid -

Bio: Aestrid is a three-piece band from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Their sound balances between post-punk and ambient electronic music meeting the wideness of shoegaze in the middle.
This Spring, Aestrid will return to Canada for the sixth time, playing throughout Ontario.
Over the last couple of years the band has played a bunch of shows and has even recorded 2 of their albums in Canada. Every show is known to be an intense experience for both audience and band. No
holding back and delivering everything until the last note.

“When I was a teenager, I used to stand in front of my guitar amps turning them up so loud I could literally feel every chord, every note, through my body. Back then I drew from sounds I heard in post-hardcore and post-rock. I’d sing into this wall of sound coming at me from the speakers. I never felt something that powerful, overwhelming. This would be my escape.
Like a blanket of sound I could wrap myself in while lying down, looking up at the stars. And it’s still how it feels when we play”.

Paper Ladies -

Bio: A two-piece from Kingston, ON, PAPER LADIES offer indie rock built on droning bass, dripping reverb, and lo-fi grit. Wrought with dance grooves and hearty pop sensibilities, PAPER LADIES hope get the crowd swayin' hips, tappin' toes, and cuttin' rugs, if only for a night."

Anela & The Early Hours -

Bio: The 4 four piece indie pop rock band hailing from London, Ontario captures sincerity in their lyrics while masking it with exhilarating drum beats and uplifting guitar melodies that will make listeners groove to the music. Unexpected and insidious, Anela & the Early Hours’ songs are like the earworm that slinks its way into the brain and refuses to leave.

In May 2017, Anela & The Early Hours debut their 7 song EP, Yesteryear and have been playing shows regularly. Their next album is soon to come out in the spring of 2018. Meanwhile, you can find Yesteryear on major streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
