Veteran journalist Glenn Kranzley talks about his new book "Still Changing, Still Home: Northampton County Since the 1950's."
Among the topics covered in the book are the economic shift from industrial manufacturing to service and retail, the loss of farmland, changes in the makeup of the population, and the evolution of the area's culture, transportation, schools, and government
Kranzley, a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, worked as a Bethlehem Globe Times reporter and Morning Call opinion page editor until he retired. His experience as a writer-researcher led the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society to choose Kranzley to update the previous local history titled Northampton Heritage: The Story of an American County by E. Gordon Alderfer published in 1953.
