EDINBURGH COLLEGE OF ART HUNTER LECTURE THEATRE
13:00 - Susana Guardiola is a director, scriptwriter and producer of fiction and documentaries. She has more than twenty years of experience in cinema, television, advertising and documentary films.
Her mentor, Spanish film director Bigas Luna, inspired her to direct her first documentary films: The Dark Kiss of the Sea and The Americans Are Coming making off in Los Angeles. Over the last years, Susana has worked with the Oscar nominated production company Bausan Films (“Cuban Rafters”), as a producer, writer and developer of feature length documentary films and TV series. Most of them have premiered in theaters and have been internationally awarded. Among them: 3055 Jean Leon, Bucharest, Memory Lost, Alondra and The Legend of Time and their last project, Voices From Mozambique.
