Join us as Canada SCORES Vancouver Bridges the Gap to help vulnerable children and youth reach their full potential.
Our Bridging the Gap Charity Ride, powered by WOWride Cycling Club and sanctioned by Cycling BC promises to be a fun day riding with friends for a cause.
This is not a race - rather a springtime ride to stretch your legs and take you on a path that crosses more bridges in a single day than you’ve likely ever done before. Consider it a personal challenge to push your limits and ride the 15, 50 or 100 KM route as you help us bridge the gap in support of our Canada SCORES kids. Our partnership with WOWride cycling ensures we have skilled and knowledgeable guides to help us stay safe and on track, and of course, the mandatory coffee and croissants stop is included!
We’ll start and finish at Edmonds Community School in Burnaby, one of the schools where Canada SCORES programming is making a difference.
Registration is only $50, and there will be lots of goodies and prizes to take home.
Sign up now and help inspire Canadian children and youth.
If you like the cause and want to spread the word of your involvement and raise funds or donate more than the registration fee, we’ll help you do that through our donation platform partner, CHIMP. It's super easy, just click on the link, register, and share the news of your ride.
Because you are doing the hard work of crossing bridge after bridge, why not encourage your friends and family to join you and sponsor one or every bridge you cross. A simple donation of $10 or $20 multiplied by 13 friends/family members/bridges can make a huge difference to children in our communities.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 with this ride because that is what it costs to put much-needed programming into another school. The registration fee helps cover the event costs and logistics.
Come and spend a great day riding with friends and family and help Canada SCORES Vancouver meet its vision of empowering kids to find their voice, achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Even if you're not a rider, you can still join us in spirit as a virtual rider, cheer on the riders and join us for lunch - we encourage everyone to participate and take part in the fun festivities onsite.
More partnerships, activities, route and plans to be announced in the coming weeks.
