The evening will feature an immersion into the healing sounds of a gong, Himalayan brass bowls and crystal singing bowls. The featured instrument, a 38” Earth gong is tuned to the frequency of the earth and the human body. Sound immersion is designed to cleanse the energetic system through sound vibration and provide an enhanced state of relaxation and visualization. The tonal experience dates back thousands of years in Tibet, Nepal and India and has been brought to the West as a spiritual tradition that brings cleansing, healing and restoration.

The singing bowls used in sound healing ceremonies are played to signal the beginning and end of the silent meditation cycles. The bowls resonate with pure tones that promote restoration. Chuck uses principles of Eastern Energy Healing, sacred instrumentation and harmonic tones to immerse participants in various alpha/theta/beta states, creating physical and emotional well-being. He trained under sound-healer Danielle Dvorak and is inspired by sound-healing pioneer Richard Rudis.

You are welcome to bring your own blankets, or use ours, and your own pillow.

Testimonial:
The sound bath was incredible and very intense. Chuck is phenomenal and truly healing. I had a profound cleansing of negative energy that made a difference in my daily life and yoga practice. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique addition to their yoga practice. I can't wait until the next sound bath with Chuck.

This was my second sound bath with Chuck. It was more amazing than the first! It was an entirely different experience. It took me to all new levels of awareness. The next few days will reveal more, as usual.
Chuck was as knowledgeable and calming, as always. Chuck truly has a spiritual gift. I have done a couple of gong meditations at a different studio, since my first one with Chuck, and I can honestly say nothing compares to the experience with him at Ahimsa. It's genuinely enlightening.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to take their practice to another level or wants to try something new and different. Many thanks to Chuck and Ahimsa for another powerful experience.

This was my third sound bath with Chuck and it was the most intense one yet! I learned that the more you do them the more powerful effect they have. Chuck is genuinely gifted with the gong. The clearing and understanding I received during and after this sound bath has had the most powerful effect on my yoga practice yet. If I can help it, I will never miss a Sound Bath with Chuck and you shouldn't either. I definitely recommend doing the Sound Bath with him as often as you can. It will change your life. It's most certainly changed mine. There's nothing like it that's I've ever experienced or participated in. Can't wait for the next one!
