Are you feeling the stress of everyday life, school, or work?
Well, this workshop is for you! Stress, anxiety, worry, depression…whatever life brings your way, we each have a reaction- physical, mental and psychological – that can affect us deeply. We have the ability to heal ourselves naturally, but the stress of daily life can interfere with that healing. Yoga helps the body slow down and brings awareness to habitual patterns of responding and relating to ourselves and the world. By focusing on the breath, the body and the present moment we can help reduce anxious thoughts and release physical tension.
This workshop is beneficial to anyone who wishes to find greater centeredness and relaxation in their lives. We will begin with a meditation before moving through a moderate intensity flow to allow physical motion to bring emotional calm, ending with a series of restorative postures to reduce stress and increase peace and calm in your life.
