What is our Food for the Future project?
Food for the Future (FFF) started as a community garden project that addressed food insecurity in Northern Saskatchewan. By partnering with community champions, FFF empowered participants by providing them with the education and materials needed to grow and maintain sustainable gardens. Our team has travelled to Beauval, St. George’s Hill, Pelican Narrows, Cumberland House and Dillon. This year, we are hopeful to continue the expansion by developing with hydroponic growing systems to increase Food for the Future’s impact.
