What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an entirely holistic and ancient form of medicine derived in India some 4000 years back. Its methods are pulled from one of the four Veda’s, or books of knowledge, as is Yoga. It is considered the ‘science of life’ and oldest form of medicine to date. Its methods of healing are found through diet, herbal remedies, yogic breathing, yoga postures or asanas, mudras, and works to find balance and harmony through the body and mind as a whole.
