Instructor Development Course - Responding to an Active Killer
This program is near and dear the the hearts of our instructors here at Endeavor and we have been searching for what we believe is a meaningful way to share this information and prepare others to go out and help change lives in their communities. We don't believe this course should be simply covered over a few days of training. We want the future instructors to truly get immersed into the topic and learn how to properly and safely present this information to others. With that we have decided upon a one month apprenticeship involving 6 days of training here at Endeavor (split into two weekends one month apart) and a distance training and teaching program for the 4 weeks in between.
Along with the actual training portion each participant will be given a copy of How to Survive an Active Killer, an instructional DVD covering many of the concepts of the course, and a separate DVD of one of our 4-hour classes taught by Aaron Jannetti. These resources will help prepare the candidate before, during, and after the apprenticeship period.
The course and all materials cost $1000 which will be broken into two payments of $500. Because of the nature of the course, we are only taking six candidates in our first run. Anyone interested will fill out a simple application and if approved will have 5 business days to reserve their spot w/ a minimum of $500 for a security deposit. The remaining course fees will be due 10 days prior to the first training day.
Physical Training Days:
July 6-8 and August 3-5 at Endeavor in Hilliard, OH - Participants MUST ATTEND ALL SIX DAYS OF TRAINING
During the month between, we will have you teach one or two small courses to practice applying the skills with students. We will also host two conference calls covering material, following up on projects, and answering any questions the instructor candidates may have.
Each candidate that meets the standards to be certified will receive lesson plans, marketing materials, promotion on our social outlets and website, and support continuing forward.
Accepting applications through May 1st
