After the first IdeasAndWine event, which looked at space research and its impact here on our planet, in this month's edition we zoom in on a very down-to- Earth issue: gender equality.

We will host two team members from a newly founded initiative, The Brussels Binder, who will open the floor to discuss the “hard” issues:
- importance of diversity in the workplace,
- ways to ensure gender equality, and engage men in making the workplace and home more equal,
- unconscious bias, stereotyping and impostor syndrome, as well as present The Brussels Binder, a practical tool to tackle a specific symptom of inequality in Brussels.

From The Brussels Binder 'Our Story'

Debates that impact policy-making and the lives of European citizens take place in Brussels every day. We want to bring more gender diversity to those debates because we believe that good policy comes from new perspectives and fresh analyses which are reflective of the societies it impacts.
Therefore, we want to see more women with voice and power. We want them to participate in shaping our lives and inspiring future generations. Following these ideals, we created The Brussels Binder, a go-to resource for conference organisers and media outlets who seek to include expert female voices in their policy debates.
