Please join us for our Holy Week services on Maundy Thursday, March 29 (12 pm and 7:30 pm) and Good Friday on March 30 (12 pm and 7:30 pm). The 12 pm services will be Readings and Hymns and the 7:30 pm services will be traditional services. We will also have a Fish Fry Dinner at 5:30 pm on Good Friday, which will be a fundraiser for our summer youth trip to Haiti. Easter Sunday services will be at 8:30 am and 11:00 am.
Maundy Thursday is a remembrance of Jesus first sharing the bread of life and cup of salvation with his disciples before his crucifixion. At the heart of the Maundy Thursday liturgy is Jesus' commandment to love one another. As Jesus humbly washed the feet of his disciples, we are called to follow his example as we serve one another.
The Good Friday service is solemn in tone as it marks the day of Jesus' crucifixion. It is called Good Friday because it led to the Resurrection of Jesus, his victory over death and sin, and the celebration of Easter Sunday.
