Dear Erasmus friends,
ESN is giving you the chance to visit the Walloon city of Dinant, situated in the province of Namur. This medieval city is built along the river Meuse and is also well known as the hometown of Adolphe Saxe (the inventor of the saxophone).
During our journey, we’ll visit the Citadel located on top of a rocky hill where we will enjoy an unbelievable panorama of the city! There are two ways to get to the citadel: the 407 steps or the platter lift. We have picked the second one, so that everybody has enough energy for the rest of the visit. Afterwards, we will go on a cruise to get an even better view of the city !
