The Artists
Carlos Javier (Keyboard) was born in Caracas, Venezuela and started studying and playing music since early childhood. His journey as a musician began at the age of four, studying classical & electrical guitar which he pursued till age 16. Then obtained a degree in classical piano from a conservatory (Academia Nacional de Música Juan Manuel Olivares), under the tutelage of Venezuelan pianist Olga Capriles, where he also studied harmony, composition and counterpoint. In 2005, Carlos branched out to Jazz, along the professor Gerry Weil, who has been the mentor of national and international acclaimed musicians from Venezuela. Carlos has experience as teacher and as a accompanist pianist for lyrical singers as part of his musical education. In Venezuela worked as session musician and participated in many presentations alongside important local musicians. Is also a prolific composer in his own right, having an EP (sold in Amazon, Itunes & Spotify) for the Venezuelan funk band “Pepperoni’s Funk Machine”. Is currently an active musician in Montreal, Canada participating in different projects and as pianist.

Yasushi Matsuki ( 5 strings electric violin & keyboard ) Yasushi was born in Saitama, Japan. He started studying classic piano at first since early childhood and violin later. Encountering with synthesizers & progressive rock at his age 15 changed his life drastically and that was the moment when he said good-bye to classic music. After he graduated from Science University of Tokyo ( Electric Engineering ), he started working in video game industry as composer & sound designer, as well as session keyboardist & violinist. The direct reason why I moved from Tokyo Japan to Montreal Canada was due to transference in game company where I was working at that time. As soon as I got permanent residency of Canada in Quebec Province, I started working as session player with artists of various music genres which are not related to my fundamental music style, coming from all over the world. His electric violin style is very unique "One and Only" : like not only violin/viola but also vintage analog synthesizers and distortion guitar for metal music.
