A STEAM Activity - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics!
Are you ready to become an engineer for the day? Then make sure to visit Esplora on the 28th or 29th of April!
Challenge yourself by building the tallest tower using only marshmallows and kebab sticks and explore the concepts of gravity and different forms of energy by using blocks to build the tallest structures. Whilst there, don’t miss out on the artistic performances being hosted specifically for the weekend during which Mr and Mrs Newton will be explaining Newton’s Laws of Motion through dance, physical theatre and comedy.
If Electrical Engineering is more your thing, have a go at our electricity workshop ‘The Tinkering Studio’. Use batteries, wires and other electrical components to build circuits and to learn more about how electricity is used in our homes. Discover how you can build and fly your own engine-less glider and investigate the forces acting on it by participating in a workshop which will introduce you to Aeronautic Engineering.
Meet an engineer in one of our interactive talks, and get inspired by the exhibitions which will be hosted for the event, including one on Steam Engines!
Surely not an event to be missed. Book your tickets online now from Eventbrite or at the door: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tomorrows-engineers-tickets-44552008256
