Learn how to make chocolate bars from the bean! After an introduction to how cacao is grown, fermented and dried at the farm before being exported, you will learn to sort, roast, winnow, and grind beans to make chocolate. After the chocolate is made, participants will mold it into bars to take home. We will discuss different chocolate origins and flavors and taste each side by side. You will leave with several bars that you made along with a few we made for you!
Class begins at 10:00am with complimentary coffee and end around 3:00pm. A gluten free lunch will be provided. Please make a note in the comments section at checkout if there are any dietary restrictions.
