Scott Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Kansas School of Business. Scott received his PhD in Strategy from the University of California, Irvine, his MBA from the University of Kansas, and his BA in Economics from Columbia University.
His research, which includes work on strategic pricing decisions, managerial time horizons, behavioral strategy, and competitive dynamics, has been published in Organization Science and Rutgers Business Review. At the University of Kansas, Scott currently teaches the core strategic management course. Prior to academia, Scott worked in programming strategy at Bravo Media - NBC Universal.
