On Saturday 5 May, we invite you to come and look around our campus in Schenefeld! From 12:00 - 18:00 you have the chance to look behind the scenes at our international research facility.
There'll be lots to do for the whole family across the whole site including:
- tours of our labs and underground experiment hall and tunnels
- hands-on experiments
- quizzes and games
- interactive science show
- flash talks and more.
Several of our collaboration partners, for example DESY, will also be present on site with exhibitions and information booths. The local NABU branch will be on hand to talk about the renaturation of the campus, and the voluntary fire brigade from Schenefeld will be on site with a fire truck.
Entrance is free
No registration required!
Everyone welcome - no age restriction for access to the campus.
Food and drink can be purchased on site.
Due to safety reasons, all visitors to the underground experiment hall and tunnels must wear flat and closed shoes. Visitors to the underground hall and tunnels must be at least 6 years old. It is not possible to register for the tours in advance. At peak times, waiting times may be possible.
Due to limited parking on and around the site, we recommend using public transport or bikes.
