Join Sheryl Light for this 2-hour workshop exploring hip opening and backbends as they work side-by-side to help ease discomfort in the body and mind. Learn why we do them in a typical yoga practice and how to perform them safely

We will dig into the anatomy of the hips and spine using standing, seated and supine postures to expand flexibility in all directions. The work is intended to stabilize the hips and lower spine, condition and release the muscles around these joints resulting in a new freedom of movement.

The workshop will include a flow yoga practice warm up in the beginning to prepare the body for the deeper opening poses and finish with a relaxing guided meditation. Learn proper, healthy alignment and leave having released those hips and opened that heart.
