Participants of this workshop will have either already taken our Furniture Painting 101 Workshop or has read through the “In this workshop you will learn” section of the Furniture Painting 101 Workshop and feels comfortable with those techniques already.

In this workshop we will explore all things Patina with the Dixie Belle Patina line and learn how to create authentic rust and patina on your painted projects, without waiting around for Mother Nature!
Patina is a natural process that occurs over time as metals are exposed to air and water. A chemical reaction with metals creates both the rust on antique farm equipment and that pretty green color on the Statue of Liberty.

The Dixie Belle Patina Collection is a non-hazardous product that creates a real patina effect – not faux patina. It uses actual metal particles in the paint that reacts with the Patina Spray.
All participants will receive a 10% discount off their purchase of items in the store the same day as the class. (Excludes classes and custom orders).

In this workshop you will learn how to:
Apply the Dixie Belle Patina Collection properly to at least 3 of the following to achieve a natural patina finish:
Seal your finished piece for long lasting décor

Guidelines & Information

Please wear comfortable “painting” clothes. We will supply an apron, but there is a chance you may still end up with paint on your clothes!

You will be taking your finished piece home with you at the end of the class! You may want to bring something like an old sheet (or that type of material) to put down before putting your piece in your vehicle. This is mainly to protect your piece from sticking to leather, having fuzzies from seats attach to your piece, etc.

You may bring in non-alcoholic beverages and a snack.

Class sizes are limited! You MUST register & pay to reserve your spot!

Duration: 2 -3 hours
