Get to know the art of Thai Yoga Massage while receiving some beautiful, meditative bodywork with Ralf Marzen.
This Introductory Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the art of Thai Yoga Massage while having fun giving and receiving some beautiful, meditative bodywork. Thai Yoga Massage, also known as Traditional Thai Massage, has ancient roots in Yoga and Ayurveda as well as Buddhism. It is a holistic therapy that works on a deeper level than purely the physical body. Working on the 10 Sen lines, similar to the Chinese Meridians, practitioners aim to balance the body’s energy systems and clear blockages, bringing overall well being. Treatments consist of a mixture of acupressure and gentle assisted yoga stretches, with the client wearing soft comfortable clothing, and the therapist working with a meditative flow. It is a wonderful experience for both giver and receiver!
This workshop will focus on hands-on learning. You will learn a sequence of simple but deeply effective stretches and exercises that are safe and easy to give, and feel fantastic! Whether you want to find out more about Thai Yoga Massage before further training, or you want to learn some techniques to share with loved ones or yoga students, or if you just want to enjoy a day of connection with others, this workshop is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
