This is the second off road bike ride held in conjunction with the Exeland Trout Festival. This year it will feature a 27 mile course. The event is geared to show the beautiful terrain and bring awareness to the miles of great biking in the Blue Hills. The vision is to turn this ride into a race and promote biking in the area. The ride will take place Saturday September 1st 2018. Registration is from 8:00-9:00 and the ride will start shortly after 9:00 a.m. Registration will take place and the race will start at Dairyland State Bank in Exeland. The 27 mile course is challenging and participants should be in good physical condition before attempting. Things to remember. All participants must sign in and sign a waiver before participating. All participants must wear a helmet and be of 16 years(special consideration to younger advanced riders) of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parents signature on waiver. Riders must remember to sign back in on the completion of the ride. A meal coupon will be presented at the completion of the ride. The course will be marked and but is still open to traffic and riders will participate at their own risk. There will be a food station at mile 12.5. The Exeland Rod and Gun Club is very excited to host this inaugural ride and hopes this leads to a larger event in the future. Course and ride information will be posted closer to the event. There is a suggested donation of $20 that includes a meal and a beverage after the race.
