Mountain biking in the Yukon is among the best in Canada in our opinion! Kick off Spring and ramp up your summer vacation mode with this casual information night.
Join David Pharand, Yukon MTB Guide and Operations Director at Boreale Explorers, as he talks about all things mountain biking in the Yukon.
Based in Whitehorse, David will give a short talk about mountain biking in the Yukon including:
- Whitehorse, Carcross/ Montana Mountain, Dawson City
- Types of terrain
- Things to see and do
- Paddling, hiking and other activities
- When to go
- Fat Biking
- and much more!
Following a brief presentation and Q&A, we will also show a copy of the short film SHIFT, a half-hour documentary about the indigenous youth from Carcross, Yukon who have spent the past 10 years converting traditional trails around their town in to a world-class mountain biking destination.
This event is free, casual and informal. Light refreshments will be available and Sera from J'ai Faime will be on hand serving up her delicious tacos for a small fee. So bring your appetite too!
RSVP is encouraged. See you there!
