Arts in Recovery for Youth is an arts and skills-based peer support program for youth ages 13 and up who struggle with suicidal thoughts and behaviors, or who have survived a suicide attempt. We use creative expression with art materials, safety and DBT skills, as well as collaboration with providers and parents. Arts in Recovery for Youth in Great Barrington begins June 6, and meets for 12 weeks on Wednesdays from 5-7 pm at ExtraSpecialTeas. There is no cost to attend. Enrollment is open and ongoing. This program is funded by Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention and the MA Department of Public Health.
