Please join FACES as we host Peter Walker, LCSW or Tucker Pavillion at Chippenham Hospital on April 24, 2018 at FACES House, 11601 Lucks Lane, Midlothian, VA 23114 from 7pm-8:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. Contact Jill at 804-378-0035 with any questions.

Peter Walker is a licensed clinical social worker who has over 20 years of behavioral health experience in the Richmond community. He has worked with adolescent, adult and geriatric populations providing mental health and substance abuse treatment in both public and private settings. Peter enjoys helping clients negotiate social, occupational and emotional challenges. He believes that all people have an inner resilience and strength that is often untapped. His job is to help you access that. He feels strongly that all people have the capacity for growth and change and he enjoys sharing that journey with clients. He incorporates a strengths based perspective using elements of cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy. In addition to traditional clinical interventions, he believes strongly in the connection between physical health and emotional heath and that healing can come from physical activity, spiritual awareness and developing a connection with the natural world. For the past 15 years, he has worked at Tucker Pavilion and is currently the Behavioral Health Manager at Tucker Wellness and Recovery Center, a mental health partial hospitalization program.
