Artist, Advocate for Artists and Editor of the "Living and Sustaining a Creative Life" series Sharon Louden with Artist, Curator and Arts Worker Matthew Deleget conduct professional development workshops sharing keys for artists to sustain their creative lives. Based on Sharon Louden's webinars, workshops and lectures, centered around the professional development platform ArtistsThrive.org, Sharon and Matthew not only give information that applies to everyone but also try to resolve issues by individuals who bring their inquiries to them. Some of the topics they will cover are the following:
-How to approach and create an opportunity without a referral
-Setting goals and meeting them
-Researching opportunities
-The nuances of developing professional relationships with those outside of Alaska
-Promotion, marketing, a good mailing list as your currency

And more! This is open to all. Documentation supports these workshops. Artists bring your questions as to what you need and want! Matthew and Sharon are excited to answer them.
