R.A.D.- Rape Aggression Defense System (Teen Girls Class)
The Falmouth Police Department is offering a free self-defense class for teen girls (age 13-17). This class is based on the Rape Aggression Defense System (RAD). The objective of this class is to give women viable tools to escape an attacker should they find themselves in such a situation.
The three-day program includes educational components comprised of lecture, discussion, and physical resistive strategies. All of which are facilitated by certified R.A.D. Instructor.
The class is open to teen girls ages 13 to 17. Anyone under 18 must obtain permission from a parent or guardian.
Day 1—April 14, 2018 (Saturday) 9 am to Noon.
Day 2—April 21, 2018 (Saturday) 9 am to Noon.
Day 3—April 28, 2018 (Saturday) 9 am to Noon.
