Pesticides and Pollinators, presented by Keif Schleifer.
A crucial link to the future sustainability of pollinators depends upon defining, respecting and managing the complex relationships between pesticides and pollinator health and habits. Each of us can play significant roles that enhance opportunities for pollinators to thrive if we better understand the impacts of pesticides. When pollinators thrive, we thrive.
Keif Schleifer, beekeeper, is a member of the University of Florida Master Beekeeping Program, the University of Georgia Master Beekeeping Program and several Beekeeping clubs and organizations. She keeps bees around the metro Atlanta area and on an organic farm in Loganville/GA. Keif also keeps bees for President Jimmy Carter at the Carter Center with fellow Beekeepers, Bruce & Meg Harlan.
