Experimental Noise Post-Hardcore

An imagination of what life actually is begins with the abstraction in consciousness and so far as we know we are the only species that is capable to be aware of ourselves. Unfortunately, we use this fact as justification to put ourselves in first place. In the course of evolution H. sapiens was able to disconnect from nature so that it is not longer necessary to adapt to the ecosystems surrounding us. Based on this hybris we created an artificial construct called society which suppresses almost each coexsisting species and habitat. (excerpt of their intro-text to FRAGMENTING TENSIONS -May2016)

“..the intensity of Hot Snakes, the sensitive chaos of Drive Like Jehu, the crushing bass riffs of Shellac, rough melodies of The Jesus Lizard, the experimentations of Fugazi...”

- Trust Fanzine # 180

.Félon (B)
prepared harp, objects (hook, chain, fans, piece of metal, epilators …), looper and fx pedals

Léa Roger's solo project. She also performs as an harpist in Guili Guili Goulag, an harp, bass and drum trio and OSILASI, an harp, Boîte à bourdon, percussions and voice duo with Célia Jankowski. Léa has followed a Celtic harp training. After wiping the benches of the Music Conservatory and the faculty of musicology she took a tangent into improvisation. In constant search for new sounds, she aims to open the field of possibilities of the Celtic harp to get out of its original repertoire, adding new playing techniques using items found here and there but also by the addition of effects pedals.
