Friends of ANCHOR – Helping to make North East Scotland’s cancer and haematology care the best it can be.
ANCHOR stands for Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy. The ANCHOR Unit covers the dedicated wards and clinics within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for Oncology and haematology patients.
The Red Run supporting Friends of ANCHOR is returning for a second year. It will consist of a 10k run, 5k run and a 5k walk. All routes are relatively flat and suitable for all abilities, All routes begin at Fetternear Hall and the runs take place mostly on open public roads. For this reason we strongly advise against the use of headphones. All routes will be heavily marshalled and well signposted and we ask that you take great care and adhere to all marshals’ guidance.
All entrants will receive a Red Run/Walk T-shirt and we ask that you wear it on the day to show your support for Friends of ANCHOR.
All run finishers will get a custom Red Run medal.
Entry into the 10k is £20
Entry into the 5k is £15.
