This event invites junior high and high school students in a Technology Education class to bring their projects to be displayed and judged. On Thursday teachers and students bring their projects to the campus to be checked in and on Friday students, faculty, and the general public are welcome to come and see all the furniture, CAD drawings, metal works and various other projects, completed by the students. Doors open to the public on Friday, April 27, at 8:00 AM and projects can be viewed until 3:30 PM. Each entry is judged and awarded a ribbon or medal. There are live competitions available for students as well. At the end of the day (typically about 4 PM), awards are given. There is no charge to come and view projects.
If you are a high school or middle school teacher that wants to bring student projects or have your students compete in live competitions (Communication Competition, Problem Solving Competion, Metric 500 Dragster Competion, Technology Challenge Competition) contact Rachel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-628-4211 and she can email you sign up sheets and the Fair Rule Book. Note: deadline for sign up is April 13. There is a limit to live competition teams - sign up early! We will have a wait list.
