Come out and celebrate Women in Horror Month with us! Hosted by Theresa Dillon with The Blogging Banshee, Molly Henery. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Stephanie Rothman Fellowship for women film students.
Women in Horror Month was created to support female genre artists and "seeks to expose and break down social constructs and miscommunication between female professionals."
The female filmmakers creating horror today have a unique vision that is breaking new ground and continues a tradition of women and genre films that started with pioneers like Alice Guy-Blache, Lis Weber, Maya Deren and Ida Lupino.
In addition to coming together to commend the female voice in horror, we will be supporting some Valley non-profit organizations that make a difference in the lives of women in Arizona.
Unite with us and make a stand for female empowerment through film! Hosted by Theresa Dillon with Special Guest TBA.
After moving to an idyllic home in the countryside, life seems perfect for the Creed family...but not for long. Louis and Rachel Creed and their two young children settle in to a house that sits next door to a pet cemetery - built on an ancient Indian burial ground. Their mysterious new neighbor, Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne), hides the cemetery's darkest secret...until a family tragedy brings the secret to life. Now, an unthinkable evil is about to be resurrected. From STEPHEN KING, the Master of the Macabre, comes a journey that leads to hell and back. Though not everyone survives the trip. For the Creeds, home is where the horror is.
