9.45am start on Wednesday 18th April 2018
It's a term-based fitness and fencing beginners course for ladies only, beginning in the first Wednesday of term 2. It's a 10 week course, where each session runs for an hour, and it includes a bit of mindfulness and general exercise, followed by some fencing time.
This course is run by a qualified lady coach Christine, and is developed especially for mums and ladies who are after some fitness time and are curious about fencing at the same time.
We cater for any fitness level, age and experience, whether you are looking at easing into exercise, or if you are after a new and unusual sport to try, or if you are after a bit of challenge, or if you are after a friendly social group to step into.
The club is a fun and friendly family environment where you are encouraged to work at your own pace and be supported to grow in skill and confidence.
There is no obligation to join as a member after the 10-week course, but if you do want to, there is the option of staying with the ladies-only group (same day but at 11 a.m.) or join the main intermediate mixed group on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
Please note that, with apologies, there is no child minding services at the club.
