Come help First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22nd at 1:00pm. Protecting our planet and environment should be important to everyone. Montana’s State Parks in no exception. We need volunteers to help us install a new noxious weed kiosk at the start of a new trail at our North Kiosk. Learn why it is important to keep an eye on these noxious plants. This project is all part of the Adopt A Trail Montana (AATM) program. After that we will travel to the Visitor Center to plant two native shrub species, a native Chokecherry and Buffalo Berry bush. The shrubs were donated to the park by Forde Nursey in Great Falls, thank you Angela Mahoney and staff. When all work is done the park will provide refreshments at the Visitor Center. This is a great little project to honor Earth Day.
