Human Trafficking Awareness Event hosted by First Presbyterian Church, Charleston, located at 16 Leon Sullivan Way.

Join us April 24 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to learn how human trafficking affects our community. The event will feature a program from 6:30-7:30 in the Main Sanctuary followed by a reception (light refreshments) and resources in the Dining Room from 7:30-8:00.

The program will feature theatrical vignettes from the musical Sins of Savior, written by Amanda Bridgette and performed by local actors and musicians. Featured speakers include: Angie Conn, (She Who Dares) survivor leader and advocate, Dr. Kerr (WVU/CAMC Behavioral Health Medicine) to speak on mental health on human trafficking and Trooper Rachel Gross (WV State Police) Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety Expert.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness, provide education and offer opportunities to help fight human trafficking that’s happening right here in West Virginia. For more information, please call 304-343-8961 or email Sue Webster at sue@firstpresby.com.
