During the Christian Holy Week, and just days before Passover, the Power Local Green Jobs campaign will be at the door of PECO Headquarters, telling the corporation that We Won't Wait for action, We Won't Wait for green jobs, We Won't Wait for locally-produced solar energy.

There will be two large public actions:
Day of Mourning- Tuesday, March 27
***Meet at First Unitarian, 2125 Chestnut Street at 2pm, from there we will process to PECO's headquarters at 2301 Market St.***

Please wear black, as this action is about mourning injustice in our city fueled by PECO's lack of action.

Communities of color are bearing the brunt of climate disaster and a lack of investment. This is an action for lives lost to pollution and global warming brought on by the fossil fuel industry, and for mourning the economic injustices in our neighborhoods, brought on by lack of good jobs.

Some folks will be engaging in civil disobedience at this action, please message us directly if you are considering participating, and plan to come the action training on Sunday, March 25, 2:30-6pm at Friends Center. http://www.eqat.org/action_training_for_we_won_t_wait

Most participants will not be at risk of arrest.

Day of Vision- Wednesday, March 28
