Live music performance by Chip Scout
Operating out of Portland, OR, experimental pop musician Chip Scout crafts a unique blend of electronic music utilizing guitar loops, samples, and synthesizers. Inspired by a wide variety of music including the boom-bap soul of the 90’s, the left field African electronics of the 70’s, and contemporary beat making, the result are songs that are nostalgic, catchy enough to hum to yourself but remain sonically engaging enough to swim in.
Live haircut by Garrett Markenson
Garrett has based himself in Los Angeles, Valencia California, and New York as both a master stylist and a lead educator in many salons inspiring a following of up and coming stylists. His clients consist of a wide range of people including artist, models, actors, and musicians. His work has also been featured in fashion editorials and salon publications.
MAPS is an amalgamation of style, culture, and travel. A reimagination of the way we think about hair and styling. A reimagination of the way we approach relationships and hear, see, and think about one another. It’s an endeavor that seeks to open doors, make you wonder or just be.
