Each year, the BMWF partners with fellowcommunity groups to bring interesting topics to the public through the Wilderness Speaker Series.

In 2018, the WSS will be every first Wednesday of the month. This will be the third and final presentation in the series.

Our valued partners include the Montana Wilderness Association, the Northwest Montana Chapter of the Forest Fire Lookout Association, and the Natural Resources Conservation Management Program at Flathead Valley Community College. The event is free and all are welcome. Details below!

"The Recovery of Grizzly Bears in Montana."

Speaker: Rick Mace, Wildlife Biologist, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks

Topic: Mr. Mace will outline the history of the road to recovery for these large mammals and what it means to have them removed from the Endangered Species Act.
