The 2017 Form & Function speaker forum at Floataway Community explores the intersections between nature and design, mind and body, art and community, and more. All proceeds from this quarterly series directly support Zonolite Park and Nickel Bottom Garden. Drinks and light bites are included.

Our November 9 event features sculptor Steve Steinman in conversation with artist, writer and gallery owner Robin Bernat of Poem88 and Anne Dennington of Flux Projects. The discussion will focus on the the rich convergence of art and the outdoors, including how found materials can inspire the creative process, how outdoor environments can enhance and inform performance pieces, and how the environment, with its ever-changing yet enduring landscapes can provide both ground and inspiration for artwork of all styles.

Moderated by Heather Infantry of Moving in the Spirit, event tickets are $20 in advance (purchased online), $25 at the door. 100% of all ticket sales support trail building, community gardening, and other efforts in Nickel Bottom / Zonolite Park.

If you're unable to attend the event in person (or if you'd just like to lend a bit of extra support), Garden Support tickets can be purchased for $10. Garden supporters will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 Gift Card from Garnish and Gather!
