FSU Panama City will host a free screening of “Liberated: The New Sexual Revolution,” a documentary about young adult hookup culture, from 6: 30-10 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in the Holley Lecture Hall.
With college spring break as the backdrop, this documentary examines the normalization of sexual violation. The filmmakers will be onsite and will host a discussion panel immediately following the screening. The hope is this documentary will contribute towards the growing national conversation about sexual norms in our society, particularly among young adults.
“In light of the recent #metoo revelations throughout our culture, we believe this documentary is exceptionally relevant to our times,” said Benjamin Nolot, who directed the film. “Let’s have the conversation.”
